Frequently Asked Recital Questions

Recital Details

  • Participation in the show is optional but the decision deadline is Jan 31st. Students will not be able to be in the show after January.
  • We will have 3-5 1hour shows all on Saturday June 26th Each class will only be in one show, but your child may be in more than one show if they take more than one class.
  • Tickets for the show go on sale late April cost is $10- $14per ticket depending on seat location.
  • All seats are assigned and tickets purchased are valid only for that particular time and show (i.e 11am tickets are good only for the 11am show).
  • All dancers in the show need to purchase a costume. The cost of the costume is $65 for all kids 6yr olds and younger, $72 for 7yr old and older.
  • LRDA is taking measurements for costumes in class please ask us if you have any questions about this process.
  • Costume fees are due in by end of January. The price of costume will increase after January this increase varies depending on the class and costume manufacturer.
  • Pictures of the costumes will be available on Flickr.com by Feb. 22nd link for this will be emailed to everyone.
  • LRDA is not responsible for any costume alterations.
  • If your dancer is in more than one class, they may be in more than one show, and may need to buy more than one costume.
  • If you have a friend interested in starting dance, please let them know that January is the deadline to be included in the recital.
  • Day of recital all dancers are supervised backstage for the entire show no parents are allowed backstage.
